Beñat San José's team has resumed training, focused on breaking the negative streak away from Ipurua with their visit to Sporting.
After getting back on track at home with the victory against Albacete BP (3-2), the Armero team is determined to earn three points away from their home ground for the first time. On the horizon, the fast-paced LaLiga Hypermotion schedule pits them in the fourteenth round against Real Sporting de Gijón at El Molinón Enrique Castro 'Quini'.
To achieve this feat, Beñat San José's staff has planned a week of work consisting of four sessions before heading to Asturias on Saturday.
The Asturian team will arrive after seeing their positive streak interrupted in Vitoria, losing 2-1 against CD Mirandés. However, they remain in ninth place with 19 points, three behind the Armeros.
They are a historically frequent opponent for the Armero team: after this match, Sporting de Gijón will be the team Eibar has faced the most, with a total of 46 encounters. Additionally, they will play at El Molinón, a stadium the Armero team has conquered on four occasions, the last being in the 21-22 season with the 0-1 victory achieved by Corpas.
San José, as he mentioned in the pre-match press conference against Albacete, hopes to recover some injured players. Xxxxxxxx have done fieldwork, although separately from their teammates.
