Eibar earn an important point against Levante Las Planas

A superb goal from Ane Campos early in the game was cancelled out by a free-kick from the Catalan side.

Eibar earned a point against Levante Las Planas at Municipal de Sant Joan Despí. An early goal from Ane Campos in the 9th minute of the game wasn't enough to bring the three points back to Eibar. However, the Armeras managed to get a very important point away from home ahead of welcoming Levante to Ipurua.

The game was very evenly matched for the most part, although the Armeras had to deal with a Levante Las Planas side that exerted a lot of pressure in an attempt to level the match. A couple of headers from Jujuba prevented what would have been, on two occasions, the equalizer in the first half, and a first half in which the Armeras were far superior.

After the break, the home side went in search of an equalizer with even more intent. However, they came up against an Eibar side that were difficult to break down, and they were also looking for any opportunity to score a second goal.

After a bad collision between Honoka and Yasmin of Levante Las Planas, the game was interrupted to ensure the player could be taken to hospital. After the interruption Levante Las Planas scored the equalizer from a free kick.

Arene came close to scoring Eibar's second in the 11th minute of stoppage time, followed by another shot from Ane Campos in search of a brace. But both were wide of the target.

A very competitive game and a fine result to take a point back to Eibar. Next week, they will face one of the strongest teams in Liga F in Levante.
