Eibar draw in their visit to Real Valladolid (0-0)

The armeros add a good point after going one man down

Eibar have drawn against Real Valladolid on the twelfth gameweek of the league. The gunsmiths have added a hard-worked point on their visit to Pucela after making a great second half. The team from Eibar had the best chances of the match, but they were not successful in the final third. In the final stretch, the team were left with one less player after the expulsion of Arbilla, although this action had not differed the final result.

In the first half, the team of Mendilibar barely managed to challenge the goal defended by Masip. The hosts were comfortable with dominating the ball and the gunsmiths did not manage to steal balls in the opposite field. Orellana's two chances and a shot far from Jordan were the clearest chances for the armourers.

In the second half, the team offered a much-improved performance. The azulgrana have installed in the opposite field and the occasions have happened one after another. Nothing else from start, Orellana had a shot off a good kick from the front. The clearest occasion, however, was from Charles. The striker hit from inside the area off a good pass from Cucurella and his shot went high by very little.

The relay of Kike García by Charles also caused new approach for the team. The Cuenca had two clear situations to unbalance the score, but Masip was providential for their own.

In the final stretch, Eibar went down one player less after Arbilla had seen the second yellow. Despite the numerical deficit, the gunsmiths continued to compete superbly and managed to keep the goal to zero, which allowed the team to add a new point
