Eibar comfortably swat Leeds aside

Sarriegi, Arbilla, Enrich and Oliveira were all on target for the Armeros

Eibar ran out comprehensive winners in their pre-season outing against Championship side Leeds United. Imanol Sarriegi, Anaitz Arbilla, Sergi Enrich all netted in the first half to set Eibar on their way, whilst Paulo Oliveira's late effort completed the rout.

Eibar put themselves well on track for victory very early on in this game. Sarriegi fired home a sweet left-footed effort from outside the box to put the Armeros into the ascendancy. Now one goal to the good, Eibar continued to pour forward in search of a second.  Anaitz Arbilla duly doubled the Armeros' advantage as he turned the ball home from a corner. Eibar didn't sit on their lead and pressed forward in search of further goals. Sergi Enrich was next to get his name on the scoresheet after pouncing on a defensive mistake to further extend Eibar's advantage.

After the interval, the Armeros' first-half endeavours began to take their toll and Leeds capitalised on this to reduce the arrears, courtesy of strikes from Chris Wood and Ezgjan Alioski. However, José Luis Mendilibar's charges hit back to regain control of proceedings. In the dying stages, Oliveira made it 4-2, rounding off the scoring with a fine headed effort from a corner.
