The SD Eibar expedition returned home on Sunday afternoon after their 11-day training camp in the town of Kössen in the Austrian region of Tyrol.

Upon their return from the training camp in Austria - which marked the club's first ever pre-season stay outside Spain - the squad have been handed two days off, with the players set to resume training on Tuesday 9 August at 17:00 CET at Atxabalpe.

After touching down at Bilbao airport, the playing and coaching staff boarded the team's new coach - a new addition to the fleet at Olabarria Buses - for the very first time as they headed back to Eibar.

Speaking on arrival at Bilbao airport, SD Eibar coach José Luis Mendilibar stated that the experience had been a "positive one" because "we met our targets".

In spite of having succumbed to defeat in three of their four outings, Mendilibar highlighted the work accomplished and particularly what had been achieved with the new recruits, who were handed playing time and even operated in different roles. "We went into the games tired, but that is what we were looking to do. We've now got a big week ahead of us with three games in which I'll continue to test things out. The freshest players will feature in these games".

The latest addition to the Eibar squad, defender Alejandro Gálvez was unveiled this morning at a press conference held at Ipurua at 11:30, after which he took to the pitch to greet the supporters in attendance.
