Under a scorching sun at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes, the Armeras played their second league match of the season, their first as visitors. A first half with a lot of possession by Granada was strongly defended by Eibar and ended with a goal for the Armeras.

A very dangerous corner kick taken by the Andalusian side and saved by Jujuba gave Eibar the lead. In the 17th minute, the first goal of the match came from Carla's finish after two consecutive corners for the Armeras.

Nearing the end of the first half, Arene was on the receiving end of a bad tackle ended in a scare. Granada played with more ball possession, but could not achieve their goal thanks to the strong defence of the Armeras.

In the second half came the second goal, by Eider, finishing after a rebound from a save by the rival goalkeeper. Granada continued to approach the Armeras’ area and had several chances to score. Even so, Eibar reached the 11 minutes of stoppage time with a goal ahead and the result of 1-2 on the scoreboard.

The game had to be interrupted twice, in the 30th minute of the first half and in the 75th minute of the match, so that the players could hydrate themselves as it was over 30 degrees Celsius in Granada.

Eibar's hard work was rewarded with their first win of the season, which was also their first away win in LaLiga F. However, next week they face two home games in the space of a few days: on Wednesday against Madrid CF in the first matchday cancelled due to the strike and against Tenerife on Sunday.
