Carla Andrés extends her contract with Eibar to June 2025

Eibar and player Carla Andrés have reached an agreement to extend her contract until June 2025.

The Eibar defender, who played a part in Eibar's promotion to the Primera División in her first season as an Armera, had a contract until 2024 and has extended it for a further season.

Carla Andrés (Aranda de Duero, 2002) joined Eibar at the beginning of the season from Racing Féminas. Of the 30 league games in 2022/23, she has played in 28 of them, always as a starter, and has scored two goals. She has played a total of 2,501 minutes.

Speaking to the club's media after the contract extension, Carla stressed that "playing in the First Division is a dream, we are super ambitious and we want to start next season already."

"Getting promoted is not easy and it has been because of the perseverance and ambition that all players have,” she continued. “Next season is going to be very hard, very complicated, but I see this team is very motivated for it, very competitive, and I think we will give our all. To the fans I say that I am proud to be part of this club. I am happy to be here playing football, I feel very supported.”
