Calavera renews SD Eibar contract & heads out on loan to Sporting Gijón
The Catalan defender today links up with his new teammates for training
Jordi Calavera has put pen to paper on a deal with SD Eibar until June 2021, before heading out on loan to recently relegated Segunda División outfit, Sporting Gijón.
The Catalan-born stopper is now into his second season at Eibar and his previous contract at Ipurua was set to run until June 2019.
Last term, Calavera, 22, was loaned out to fellow Segunda División club CD Lugo, where he made 40 appearances and scored two goals.
