Asier Riesgo continues to be sidelined after tearing gluteal fibres
The Eibar custodian is expected to be fit to return after the Christmas break
Asier Riesgo will once again be sidelined this matchday and is also poised to miss Wednesday's Copa del Rey clash against Sporting Gijón, after suffering torn fibres in his right gluteus, according to information provided by SD Eibar's medical department.
The Armeros' shotstopper picked up the injury after suffering a severe contusion in the La Liga meeting with Athletic Club at San Mamés on 4 December.
Riesgo is set to be out of action for around two weeks and his return is pencilled in for after Christmas.
This information was provided by IMQ, SD Eibar's official medical provider.
