Anaitz Arbilla spoke at the first press conference of 2023 to assure that "it's time to push on".

The Eibar captain has highlighted the "excitement" in the Eibar squad to face the upcoming matches.

EXCITEMENT

"We've had a spectacular end to the year in the league with three wins and a draw in the last four games, with good feelings both away and at home. We have had a good week of training after the holidays and we are excited to face the two upcoming home games. They are potential banana skin games, but we have shown that we are a reliable team that does not get complacent even in these games."

"The second round is starting, there are fewer and fewer games left and we have to start with great enthusiasm, giving importance to all the details because it is clear that, if we want to be at the top, we have to have a high level in every training session. We all have a lot at stake and let's hope we have a good start to the year".

TIME TO PUSH ON

"When teams come are at the bottom and seem to come with bad feelings, they are a trap. Everyone is aware of what we are playing for and where we want to be. It's time to push on, we know that we are strong at home, we have to prove it and whoever comes here knows that they will have a hard time at Ipurua".

IPURUA

"Our weapon is Ipurua, at home we are strong, the rivals who come to Ipurua know the complications they have if they want to get something here and we have to give continuity to that. We have to have respect for all the rivals that come to Ipurua, as we do when we play away from home, and above all, we have to be hungry to win, to score goals, to be defensively strong and to want to be at the top of the table. There are five months left and we all dream of being again in the last few rounds fighting to be at the top."

"The game in Burgos was wonderful, to find ourselves again with that harmony with which we finished last season, which was spectacular. I hope we can give continuity to that union between players and fans. For our part, we're going to give it our all and hopefully at the weekend we can be close to a full house at Ipurua to kick off this year".
