Andrea Álvarez, Noko y Malado will travel to play for their national teams

The Guatemalan will be looking to qualify for the 2024 Gold Cup, while the others will be working to qualify for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations

There won’t be any Liga F matches next week, due to the upcoming international break. And, three of the SD Eibar women’s first-team players will be travelling to their home countries to play for their national teams in different competitions.

Andrea Álvarez, who scored in Eibar’s recent game against Sporting Club de Huelva, will travel to Guatemala to play in the so-called microcycle, with the team looking to qualify for the W Gold Cup to be played next year in the United States. On November 29th, Guatemala will face Jamaica in Kingston and then, on December 3rd, they will play the return leg in Guatemala.

Meanwhile, South Africa’s Noko Matlou will travel with her national team to the Ivory Coast, where they will play a 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Burkina Faso on November 30th. They will then return to South Africa for the home leg, which will take place in Pretoria on December 4th.

Hapsatou Malado will also play in these 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, doing so for Senegal against Egypt. Senegal’s matches will take place on November 30th and December 5th.
