In line with what is fast becoming a tradition, the club staged another media press conference in a working breakfast session. The event was attended by journalists interested in hearing of the latest news from within the club, which was shared by Gorostiza, Larrañaga and Rodríguez.

One of the topics to attract the greatest levels of interest amongst the gathered press were the plans for the development of a Training Ground, which the president referred to as one of the biggest challenges facing the club, "We're working on it, it's very difficult to source land in Eibar, but we're very focused on ensuring the project comes to light". We know that it'll be tough, but we'll get there". With regards to the club's facilities, Gorostiza reflected on the opening of the East Stand  in the following terms, "We're very proud, we have received good initial feedback and the best thing about it is that it was all carried out in perfect harmony with those who live close to the ground. The  club badge is now in place, which can be seen from many points across the city. We're proud of what we're doing and very proud of the patience that those living next to the ground have shown".

The way in which the SD Eibar Foundation has been promoted was another of the main topics discussed, with Gorostiza pronouncing her now-famous phrase "We want to pay the community of Eibar back for what it has given us", to which Larrañaga added, "In recent years, the Foundation has been little more than a brand and what we've done is to make it active and strengthen it, by forming a board and an executive committee. The aim of promoting the club's social work isn't a case of us trying to invent something, we're tuned into the needs that are out there and try to respond to them. For example, through the Memorial Valencia, the agreement signed with all of Eibar's sports clubs through the City Council, the #ABIAN Training and Employment Fair and the interesting project with KIROLGI, which aims to help and promote the careers of seven Eibar athletes".

Gorostiza offered a reminder that the club now boasts a  Federation of International Supporters' Groups, featuring 34 groups, with the club enjoying an unbeatable relationship with each of them.

In addition, the club's intention to continue with its internationalisation efforts  was also revealed, with Rodríguez enthusing about SD Eibar's trip to Japan last week, "It was a very productive trip. It was a historic landmark for Takashi to receive an invitation from the Japanese Prime Minister to attend a meal at which the King of Spain was also in attendance. We also made the most of our time to establish the club within the bilateral committee between Japan and Spain. We created links with highly appropriate figures and are now able to put a face to their names and the same can be said for them.  We'll now continue to work on developing these relationships to allow us to strengthen our links".
