Agreement for the renewal of Mada until 2028

SD Eibar and the homegrown player will remain linked for two more seasons.

There are no reactions yet. Be the first!

The story of Mada and SD Eibar will continue to be written, at least until 2028. The Armeros and the player from Berango have reached an agreement to extend their contract, ensuring the growth of one of the most promising players in the squad and a role model for Eibar's youth football.

Ander Madariaga (Berango, 2002) began his training at Lezama, where he joined at just 10 years old. In 2016, he moved to Itzubaltzeta FT and, a year later, started his long journey through the youth ranks of SD Eibar. Since his cadet stage, Mada has climbed every step of the Armeros' development structure until completing the cycle and reaching the first team.

After several call-ups and four matches in LaLiga HyperMotion, in the 2024/25 season, he managed to establish himself in the dynamics of the first team with the number 29. At the start of the current season, he took another step forward by receiving the first-team registration and wearing the number 16, a recognition of his perseverance and performance.

On the way to 50 professional matches

To date, Mada has played 38 official matches wearing the Armeros' jersey, three in the Copa del Rey and 35 in the Second Division, scoring four goals and accumulating 1,837 minutes of play.

With this renewal, SD Eibar reaffirms its commitment to a player who embodies the values of the club and is destined to play a significant role in the present and future of the Armeros' project. Mada will continue to grow at Ipurua and will be an inspiration for those who dream of making the journey from the youth academy to the elite.

Congratulations, Mada!
