Eibar continue on the right track by making it three wins out of three in Huelva

The Armeras beat the Andalusian side 1-0 with a goal from Laura Camino and another penalty save from Miralles.

A more attack-minded Eibar side came out on top at the Antonio Sánchez Toledo Stadium this afternoon. The game was clearly dominated by the Armeros, although there were no major chances for either side as the game progressed.

In the 18th minute Camino's found the net, and it proved to be the winning goal, with Espe Pizarro providing the assist. After the goal, evenly matched minutes followed. Sporting Huelva didn't make things easy for Eibar, given their need for points at this stage of the season. However, the Armeros continued to push forward in search of a second goal. The game went into the break with Eibar leading both in terms of momentum and the scoreline.

A tackle by Annelie inside the box in the 54th minute resulted in a penalty for Sporting Huelva. It was the second consecutive penalty saved by Miralles, who was once again in the spotlight after the penalty she saved in the previous match, against Sevilla.

Eibar continued to dominate the game, but without any real chances to score a second goal. They didn't have to defend too much, either, with the home side struggling to create many more chances to equalize after the penalty miss. The two clearest chances were thwarted by the Armeros' defense and goalkeeper without much difficulty.

The final whistle blew, giving Eibar a boost and, the team are now beginning to enjoy the points that much more, given the stage of the season. Two consecutive victories, which they had not managed to achieve so far this season, and both with a clean sheet. They are already starting to think about the next challenge: which is the derby against Athletic Club that will be played at Ipurua next Sunday at 12:00.
